Dr. Rob Barnwell
Co-Founder & Chief Guardian— Studio Training, Protocols and Experience
Dr. Rob Barnwell brings decades of experience in Emergency Medicine shaped by the rigors of military service — an environment where precision, accountability, and patient safety are not aspirational values, they are non-negotiable requirements. His career spans military service, large hospital systems, and independent ER and Urgent Care leadership, giving him a breadth of medical perspective that few in this field can match.
Having spent his career treating patients — including those recovering from complications caused by poorly administered laser sessions — Dr. Barnwell saw a clear gap between what clients were being promised and what they were actually receiving. Tenora is his answer to that gap: a studio where genuine care and medical discipline are built into every process, not just the marketing.
As Chief Guardian of Clinical Standards, Dr. Barnwell oversees all treatment protocols, safety procedures, and ongoing Guardian training. Every process your Guardian follows traces back to his physician-designed framework — updated continuously as technology and best practices evolve.

Dr. Rusty Rowe is a Board Certified Dermatologist whose career has taken him from military service to private practice — seeing firsthand the full spectrum of what laser aesthetics can do when performed well, and what it costs clients when it isn't. His approach to medicine has always centered on one principle: the person in front of you deserves your full attention, your honest assessment, and your best work.
Dr. Rowe's driving conviction is that expertise without empathy is incomplete medicine. He's watched too many clients navigate an industry full of confident-sounding promises backed by thin training. Tenora was built to be the alternative — a place where clients are educated, not sold to; protected, not processed.
